2003 E85 Navi stuck on the Warning Accept screen

I have a 03 E85 with a Nav unit that is stuck on the Warning! Accept screen.

Is there a wya to get pass through this or is there a reset so at least I can get access to the radio channels and other functions of the on board computer?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.....

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 20 min and then reconnecting? You will lose your radio stations and one touch windows

It may be having trouble reading the DVD.
Once you get it to wake up, I used NavCoder evaluation version to set the Region to Europe.
That gets rid of the warning screen and sets the "turn in xx" from feet to yards.
Doesn't seem to change anything else.

I guess only in America can you get successfully sued for not warning the driver to look where the heck he's going.

Thanks for the response Schmoupe and Stickmon. After removing the ground cable from the battery for about 30 minutes, the warning screen continue to show.

I do not have the DVD map disc installed since the previous owner did not include in the sale which I do not think impacts the performance of the navi screen for just navigating radio channels which I could not even access to date.

Any fix ideas or a reset procedure, please advise.....

Again, thanks in advance for your support.

You can try and re-flash the firmware.
The latest version is v32.
You can get the ISO here, and the tools to put the image on a DVD.

I suggest getting a map DVD first and see if that makes it happy.
