Sport Button
Quick question. When I was looking at Z4's, some had that "Sport Button", while others did not. Can someone tell me if there is any difference???
Thank You. |

What gave you the idea that I had a 2.5i?? Also what's with your attitude on a simple question, (Since you have no idea what series Z4 I have) and you come in here like some egotistical nut case thinking that your something of a "Know it All"?? You see it's individuals like yourself why I promised myself a very long time ago that I would NEVER buy a BMW. Damn individuals with one very large entitlement issue just for starters.

Ranger_Vet68, chill friend! It's cool. Dude was being sarcasmo.
Here's a question to you all: Does the sport button only work with manual cars? I have an auto, and I don't have a sport button. I haven't checked if my car is prewired for one nor do I know if the sport button even works with autos. Edit: Was able to answer my own question here. Looks like it works with automatics! Now to see if mine is prewired...

Actually, you get more benefit with the Sports Package (includes the "Sport Button") in an automatic than in a manual: when activated the steering tightens, the accelerator is more responsive and the shift points in transmission are remapped to shift at higher rpms - not needed in a manual since you control the shift points in a manual.

He needs a "M" leather jacket and needs to the whole car coated in Jet Hot. Z4-VILLA(radar vs sonar) is this you Ranger? Sounds familiar. Anybody remember him?

Folks are free to like that or not, but, and if it's not something you want to do that's cool. There are pay services available on the web that will answer questions: for a fee of course. Life's too short to be serious all the time! How could we forget? It was jet hot costed tough guy drama! Last edited by Finnegan; 03-22-2015 at 03:04 AM.. |

But I'm really confused now. You just labeled BMW owners as having entitlement issues, yet you have friends in real life who own $250k cars? Do you hate your real life friends too? |

I've gotten nowhere with my X5d. I've got a lot of searching ahead of me. Heck, Jim Millet (he doesn't post too often anymore) even called me on the phone and invited me over to do the CDV delete when I lived in Seattle back in 2008. Now that's community.

BTW, Rad Racer was my favorite game on the original Nintendo. I'm guessing we're about the same age - mid 30's give or take a few years? |

Ahh the good old days of VILLA using his post count and join date as a way to "pull rank" on newer, less post whoring members.
Little bit of thread jacking- How does one tighten the sport button? Mine has become a little loose and wiggles around if i push on it laterally.
