Congrats sir, if you have indeed found a way to work around the OEM ECU you have found the holy grail for this platform.

Thanks Guy

We know it is a HUGE "revolution" for Z4 owner as us It's been a while i want to have a decent ECU on my car, and keep all options of the car!!

I have never understood why AEM or other ECU seller don't sell a P&P wiring for bmw Z4...there is some clients who are ready to pay for that I would have been the first !!!...anyway maybe we will the ONE which can offer this harness

I have to thank my partner Amo which is the "wiring man" of our company. By the way if you want to take a look on our activity in France, do not hésitate to take a look on :

https://www.facebook.com/ExelixisEtuners/?fref=ts
http://www.exelixisetuners.com/

Amo (my partner) is Greek, and usually work on MILSPEC wiring...maybe someone know the company Exelixis Etuners...

Currently we have just make the connection to see if the ECU can work with the car, and it is ok! So now we have to build a Proper harness, as we know everything is ok. I can make some pics if you want but at this stage:

- the ECU is just plugged to the car, no beautiful harness to see
- the ECU has just a starter tune, and the car run correctly even without any sensor plugged

All cluster are ok (rpm,...), and ABS, ESP also

As we do also tailored tune, we will be able to make a better traction control on the CAR, launch control, flat foot shift....or other option

We love work with AEM ecu as they offer many way to work on the engine.

Moreover, as the CAN BUS linked to the ECU, we have the same option as M3 E46, as switching between different tune in live directly with the steering button, etc....!!

I am so happy to have to work on a such project, and i will be really happy to provide you with a such P&P Harness we will build...! We have also the right to have a decent ECU on our car

If you want, i can see pics or video to proove that all is working

Very excited to hear this. I am quite interested in getting a patch harness to use the infinity. Let me know what you'd need and the cost involved via pm if you would.

We worked on an used M3 E46 harness, so you can keep your bmw Z4M harness stock!

I will let you know once we will find the better P&P solution for our car, as we have to do finish properly our first one model first

Hi Guys,

Here a very small video in poor quality when you start the car for the first time...

Merry Christmas everyone !

PS: none of the sensor is plugged ! and the "birds sound" provides from the lack of airbox (the whistle sound).

Next step i would like to replace my brembo caliper by AP racing setup front and rear.

So my brake are fore sale, full kit (caliper, pads, discs) if someone is interested

I have a lot of things to improve...but the feeling is good currently, even if it still remains to add some aero with wing and front splitter (APR will be a great choice, except if inTgr8r releases its AMAZING aero front bumper with splitter

I would like also to save more weight, so i plan to make carbon doors, rear trunk and fender if possible. I have a friend who work in a such activity, and he can help me!

I plan also to build carbon door panel, but not with plate carbon. I want to create a replica of the OEM door panel in carbon, as i would like to keep a great inside aspect of the car...

Currently the car weights 1320 kilos (2910pds), it is still too much !!

I am also planning to improve the engine. Indeed, I think it is time for the car and we are ready after 4 years of track day (20 tracks per year)..

So let's take place to AEM infinity ECU ! i have already bought it with an P&P M3 E46 harness. I also bought an OEM M3 E46 harness to modify my current one in order to use the AEM as it shoud work.

I don't still know if i create a 8 butterflys system with 8 watermeth snoozles, or directly add an ESS S/C with watermeth... i am not decided yet.

We have already made some nice tips on the stock engine to win some hp..

I have some "facilities" to develop my car as i own a shop with my partner in France. We are specialized in engine and chassis tuning.

I will post all other mods

Cheers !
my car weights 2805 with full tank of gas and without driver. Did you strip the rears?
this year im removing front carpet. I would love if your friend could make 2 fenders, trunk, and door lol.

I am curious to know how did you proceed to loose some weight
