fake fins do not look bad at all. But that Aston Martin looks completely evil front the back. Ca not wait to see a render of this.

This fake eBay diffuser.
Price is a little steep for a chunk of plastic, but it's good heavy material. Here's what it looks like on the car. Pardon my dirt.

I used the clip-nuts as regular nuts on the inside of the bumper cover. I didn't want to try and thread into the bumper cover. The plastic is really soft.

Give me a few more days.
After a few renderings and letting them sit for a few days, I've definitely refined them a good bit down to a few renderings that will transcribe well in carbon and will compliment the multitude of Z4M rear ends, from OE+ to heavily modded. |

Y'all see them on this car for sale? I think this is perfect...
http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=949171 I'd be in for something like this - but does feel more like a sub- $400 thing...

Sorry to keep bothering this post - FYI, i spoke to the guys at EuroBotique (www.euroboutique.us), they are here in Fremont, CA. Attached is a picture of the product they sell for $179 (see: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281255661443...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

I looked it up to see what that part is and RealOEM says that it's a "cover, activated charcoal filter"? Makes no sense. Anyone know what it really is? Part #17 http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...61&hg=51&fg=80 |

Diff cooling duct, I think.
The rubber eBay diffuser isn't big enough to have any impact. This one, that I think is what's on the car in post #40 may be a more difficult install, but might be sorta functional.
