Silver Z4M Coupe

Hello,

Is the person who was drving their M Coupe around Calgary yesterday any one on here?

First off, seeing you drving around made me miss my car which is in storage. Second, if that's your winter car I really want to see what you drive once the snow is gone!

There are several Z4MCs and Z4MRs (including mine) that I've seen used year-round in Calgary. Too hard to drive a less enjoyable car in any condition . With winter tyres your Z4MC has better grip in the snow than your 325i with winter tyres due to the M-Diff. We used to have an E46 323Ci and E90 325i and currently have a 135i, the Z4MR outperforms them all in the snow.

I agree it is hard to drive a less enjoyable car! I can't imagine there are that many Z4M Coupes or Roadsters in Calgary, so if your seeing lots in the winter maybe most are driving all year round...... interesting. I still plan to keep mine as a summer fling.

There were 321 Z4MRs sold in Canada and 187 Z4MCs, so in proportion to the population there would be 11 Roadsters and 6 Coupes in Calgary. I would think there are about double that, though, due to the excessive "oil money" spend on cars for several years before the recession hit.

Again I agree, good chance Calgary has more than any other Canadian city. Mine is a US car so if you take the US imports into account there are a few more around.
