What final drive gear do I have?
Trying to figure out how to tell which final drive gears I have. I've searched the forums but found conflicting information from different people. Some say I have x others say I have y. I have a 2006 3.0Si Manual transmission (last 7 vin: lw91373).
And depending on the answer would it be worth it for me to upgrade? |

3.0 SI manual uses the 3.46 the automatic uses the 3.64 diff ration IIRC.
Not sure what the actual 1-6 ratios are. As for whether it would pay to upgrade, that depends on your goals. Pretty good discussion here although it's a bit FI (turbo, S/C) focused. |

See thats where I get conflicting information. I have heard that the Manual has the 3.64 ratio not the automatic?
Either way would going from a 3.46 to a 3.64 be a significant difference? Most of the FD swaps I see are from lower like 3.3 to 3.64 |
