Warm AC and the snowflake button

So my AC hasn't been blowing cold my '07 Z4M, was going to take it in and have it checked. But then I noticed that my snowflake button was acting funny. The light is always lit, even when I push the snowflake it doesn't turn off. Anyone seen that before? I read about transport mode keeping the AC from working but I don't think that's it as the blower motor turns on full blast.

Is your ambient temp reading correct? When the temp sensor gets damaged the reading defaults to -40 and makes the A/C inoperable.
