Not all cars came with Bluetooth. Two of my buddies and I have 2006 / 2007/ 2008 3.0si's respectively. Only one of them (mine) has bluetooth but they all have the multi-function steering wheel.

The search is coming along and I just test drove an 04 2.5 but it was automatic and as much as my fiancée would like me to get an auto, I can't bring myself to get one. Dealer wanted $10.9k for it with 90k, BT, black with red leather (at the Dodge dealer in Daytona if anyone is interested).

Quick question - The top went up and down smoothly but when I put it down, the light turned off at the switch but began to blink while driving. What was that about?

My 2004 has Bluetooth. I had an 10/2002 back in 2002 who had Bluetooth as well. You had to order it in every production year.

The late facelift model have much better sound of the door locks. I did retrofit them
LED Tail lights. I prefer round design
Xenon with Angel eye on inner bulb
New front bumper design (Aerodynamic bumper design stayed the same)
New rear bumper with hardly any difference.

The biggest update was 8/2004 when BMW made some quality changes and added M seats to the option list and multifunction steering. Improved door locks (did improve later again).
In 2005 (8/2004) the AC control button, Air vents and all plastic became black instead of dark grey.
Easy to recognize if your Radio supports mp3's since the black radio was mp3 ready the grey one not.

Facelift 2006 model became new, prettier AC control button.

2005 and later Bluetooth was standard with BMW Assist.

Check TIS. He might have Bluetooth and not know about it. You can actually get the passkey using PA Soft.

When you put the top down, you have to keep holding the button until the LED turns off and the top has "locked" in the down position. If the LED subsequently starts blinking, it typically means that the top isn't locked down. Not usually a problem around town but not advisable at highway speeds.

Huz-Z,
I did hold the top down button until the light turned off but after I started driving, that's when the blinking started. I did some searching and I think the trunk switch might not have engaged all the way. Doesn't seem to be a big issue since the top was down for the most part.

I doubt I'm buying that car anyway, simply because of it being an auto.

I had that happen once and a little push down on the to top engaged the switch and remedied it.
