Starting the new year with a dented door

Eating at a restaurant with my girlfriend and came back to a dented car with a note. I'm lucky someone put a note instead of running away, will be contacting the guy to resolve this issue, but REALLY THOUGH...You hit my parked car that was never moving, now I am going to call a day off work to get it handled and being without a car for maybe 3-5 days.

Very annoying, to say the least!

At least the guy had the common decency to leave you with his contact information so you can get this resolved as a claim against his coverage and not yours. Many times when this sort of damage occurs the person who did it takes off, leaving the owner of the damaged car to get things fixed on his own dime.

Oh man, sorry it happened to your car but seriously be grateful that the guy left you a note! Here in California, the criminals even hit and run in broad daylight.

yes i am VERY VERY VERY grateful, and could have been worse.

Sorry if my post seems a bit harsh! I know how frustrated it cant be when people damaged you property. I know 3 people got hit and run in the last few weeks. One of which is my wife's best friend who is 7 months pregnant. The @&#hole actually stopped, came out to check his car and took off. The worse part was that CHP told her dont even bother to report because not mu h they can do!

Really sorry to see that man.

One way you could get a little good out of this would be to take the opportunity to upgrade to aero rocker panels, since they're going to have to paint one anyways.
