I've been searching almost every outlet for the past few months but have hit a slow point. going to keep this up for a while for anyone considering selling their beloved. currently deployed and returning very, very soon. just cant say when.

going to keep this short and sweet:

looking for an m coupe, low miles, up on all maintenance and un-molested.
-preffered: navigation, little to no modding, clean title
any color, any interior except woodgrain.
-price range:
absolutely free to 33,5 (33,5 being my ideal coupe: imola on black/carbon, navi, <20k miles, all maintenace )
-distance doesnt matter, im located in and out of NC/GA

again, ill bump this every now and then, my buyig window is a big one, im in no hurry, although i am a very serious buyer.

07 Z4M Coupe in white with navi etc. 34k miles with documented service. It have warranty until 2017 (not a typo). It is sold by BMW but not a BMW extended warranty.

Z4MLover2012, since you're new, you may not know it's not a great idea to post your own WTB in someone else's WTB thread. A better idea would be to start your own thread. (It's a lot easier for sellers to find you that way too.)

took a monaco to a shop for a ppi
-1200 mile inspection never done
-tranny never flushed
-almost no maintenance... ever....
-scratched up fangs
-leaking (heavily) PS line

kinda hating trying to buy while im over seas... home soon though

Damn isn't that a bitch. Yeah dude, be glad you did the PPI.. the dealership I just went to today started acting distant about making a sale after I mentioned I was demanding a PPI..

Before you took it to the PPI did they show you a carfax? And if so was it clean?

Wow. I find it hard to believe, and then again am not surprised in some ways, that people just buy and trash these cars. Sucks, and patience is hard, more so I'd imagine away from home.

Honestly, it's rare to find any car w/o fang scratches (almost all of us have them) but the maintenance stuff, that is a big deal. Did you get a VIN number? Kinda nice to keep track of these since some of these cars really seem to make the rounds.

Yeah you know, lately I've noticed with all the carfax's of the cars I'm interested in; I think all of them have at least had 3 owners. Fascinating how much they've circulated.

no, i agree. ill take any color, any trim option, even raise my mileage limit as long as i can find one properly maintained and babied

***vin to this example is 5UMDU93427LL93576 - a monaco MC with carbon/black sitting FS in NC.
again for anyone who sees this, this vin had almost NO maintenance and NO record of break-in inspection at 1,200 mi and now sits at 26,000 mi

Did you check with BMW dealers or just carfax.. I did both before I got mine.. That blue one is sweet.. I checked it out on Auto Trader.. It looks to be in such good cosmetic shape, it would be hard to believe that the owner didn't maintain it well..

yes, the dealer who has it now drove it to my home town to meet up with a bmw dealership i do business with in winston. i got a long list of issues including the above mentioned. and i agree, i thought judging by the few pictures they have on autotrader that it looked nice. come to find out that the driver side fang is beat to hell and the front bumper in general is borderline "needs to be replaced" is what the SA said.... along with minor scratches here and there all over the body.
