I put my summer set back on and dropped the rear tires to 30psi, and might even go as low as 28. it was 33psi before, and now its hooking MUCH better in 1st gear, even in colder temperatures.

The contact patch is increased, thats for sure. Tires won't last as long but.... its hooking better.

I'm gonna try some low rpm launches and see what kind of 0-60 times I can lay down

yeah, I'm getting 7+ regularly. I gotta say, I did feel a difference in low speed acceleration by switching back to the much lighter volks.

I really want some KW3 coilovers, but my budget doesn't allow it right now

yeah ill go to clubsports, im currently just buying in reinforcement kits for the front and rear as i want to over build everything (all arrived now)......Right now im flat broke.... i simply cant buy anymore car pieces and must concentrate on the house and my baby boy.... i am however saving up funds and selling stock pieces and im rapidly making up the needed funds :-)

im definatly sticking with my CSLs, i need the strength for the usage my car see's, they are very very strong, and not that heavy, hell not many 19s are lighter and they ARE lighter than the stock 18s so im happy with that.... Bear in mind i need 19s and a minimum +32 fron offset for the BBK i have.... in an ideal world id like a PROPER fitment jap 18" or the BBS Fi.......

its killing me having no money right now...... i hate not being able to buy the parts i want...... siggghhhhhh need work harder and get business back to 100%

I didn't get very good times down at the autocross, but did learn a lot with a Ken who's a member here, which all went out the window when I ran with the TC off. oh man.... should be a great video. Ate about 10 cones on the last corner going sideways

gotta hand it to me, I kept the big slide from spinning me around. Just took my hands off the steering for a second to let it unwind. Wasn't enough room to ride it out. hahahahahha

Unfortunately I only hit about 6000rpm in 2nd, so didn't get to use the best of the kit.

I'm very surprised that even with how messy my last run was, and I went off course at the end, my time was close to my fastest lap. From now on I'll run the first lap with TC on to warm up the tires and learn the track, and the rest with TC off

I cracked an underbody panel near the bumper corner, but they're not expensive to replace. In fact, it was one I already repaired before so its time for a new one

I'm gonna try to run as many autocrosses as I can next season. I'd like to hit a real track too

TC is a huge killer on these cars. I never run with it on...but granted I don't have a blower under the hood

Nice runs, there is room to improve, but I'm sure you realize it. Just becoming smooth with the car, eliminating "coasting" (Which I have a bad habit doing) and getting on early without breaking the tires is a task.

I've put my car sideways through the finish as well...fun times.

great point about coasting, I forgot all about it while running. I think I'd be fastest with an adjustable racelogic TC system, set to allow a lot more slip than the stock system. I can't wait to get good at this "driving" thing, especially since my license plate is "Z STIG". hahaha

How do your sideskirts look? I have a small gouge on mine from spinning into the last cones just like you did.

Havent checked my sideskirts, but I cracked a corner underbody panel near the front side. Its like $44 or something

for some reason today, my AEM meth kit's pump stayed on even though the car was off, almost zero fluid in there, and obviously no boost. I immediately cut power to it. Have no idea whats up.

I don't THINK it flooded my boost pipes, since it was near empty and I put some strong air through them for 30 minutes after, and the car ran fine. I'll check tonight, thx for the tip.

There's a place called Maximum PSI or something within 2 hours from me, who MAY be able to upgrade and tune this kit to VT2-550 levels. But thats something I'll look into in the spring

I'd rather run 9psi, and no meth unless I'm tracking, since I go through it in 2 days and its $8/gallon

next for me is a very interesting camera setup. I'm gonna try to build it this weekend. I'd like my gopro to be mounted in a video game style angle =)
