Anyone knows is there a 6 speed manual for E85 2.5i?

Does the 6 speed manual transmission gearbox 3.0i bolt to the 2.5i?

No the gearbox is different so its not a straight swap.
It's shorter so you'll need a different propshaft.
Chances are that the selector mechanism is different too and that the clutch wont fit: 6 speed has a 22spline input shaft and with the 5 speed the early ones have 9 spline and the later ones have 22 spline, I dont know what's in the z4.
And maybe there are some different brackets for the gearbox mounting suspension etc.

SMG might be mechanically easier, as that is dimentionally the same as the 6spd manual. (but you obviously need the gear selector mechanism)
But I dont know about the electrical consequences. It might be tied into the ecu etc. generating fault codes when the smg is missing.

Finding someone that can competently reflash the ECU from auto (or SMG) to manual is the biggest challenge in this swap on an E36, E46, or E85.

I did not know that this was an issue. On the next generation DMEs, there is only a single calibration file for all three transmissions. So an msv70 N52 can swap transmissions without any difficulty.
