yah.....i work with engineers all day...i learn to go with the flow, ignore what doesn't affect me and go on. but in this case, it bugs me to not know.

That's the clutch delay valve. Slows down clutch engagement. Lots of people have them deleted, or put in an empty one from http://www.zeckhausen.com/BMW/Z4.htm

hey, I drove a friends toyota corolla stick this weekend...boy was it easier to clutch on.....anyone want to tell me why? The clutch point was not as particular and i could pretty much just pop it and it wouldn't make the car lurch.
