Z4C/Z4MC spotting

I just pick up a 07 Z4C Interlago Blue 6sp manual. This was probably my last chance to drive a BWM straight 6 paired with a manual gearbox. We know how rare these cars are so I started to play Z4C spotting. Unbelievably, I see a grey Z4C parked near my office in San Jose (off Montague) today. Are you on this forum?

Where are guys seeing other fellow Z4C or Z4MC?

I spent the better part of the last 6 months looking for a Z4C in the Bay Area. I could not find one for sale let alone just one on the road. I guess owners don’t take it out much and aren’t looking to sell.

I saw a white one on south 880 last week. Probably near Hayward. Was that your car?

No, my Z4M is Monaco blue

I know of at least 8 owners in the SF Bay Area, many still own the car(s) even if dormant here on the forums. Hosted a meetup at Philz Cupertino ages ago in 2016.

Saw a Grey Z4 Coupe (M?) going the opposite way on Skyline today (July 23), first time I've seen one in the area personally. Funny thing is they were in a caravan of Porsches!

If you count Sacramento and east as “the extended Bay Area” there are several of us (around 10 on my pre-Covid count) out here. Last meetup at the Sac Auto museum in June there were 3 of us. I just don’t get to the Bay Area that often because it’s a long trip from Placerville. Might be willing to make a trip in fall once it’s not 105 though…

not a Z4 but I did see a beautiful blue Z3M coupe in Milpitas today.

I have Monaco Blue Z4 M Coupe. I’m mostly in SF and the Dublin/Pleasanton. I rarely drove my car the previous 5-6 years but I’m driving it regularly now.

I saw a nice Interlagos? Blue parked in SF a couple of weeks ago on Oak or Fell street.

Was it a Silver Z4MC? That coulda been me. I work near Montague and 1st and occasionally drive into work with the coupe.

I've seen 2 Moupes and several roadsters in total since they first came out (Chicago burbs). Both Moupes were within the last year or so, both Sapphire Black (dude w/ the tints + yellow lenses or guy from work...let me know if you're on here!).

There was a silver coupe (non-M) that used to be in a subdivision near me.

No, it’s a Z4C like mine. It’s in same office park as where I am on Montague and River Oaks parkway.
