Airbag Light and Wipers on when going over bumps

I rarely drove my Z4 M Coupe over the past 5-6 year years, but I’m driving it more regularly now. The car has always been regularly maintained and I recently replaced the battery (old), alternator (slight out of spec), and OEM windshield.

That being said, when my drive over large bumps on the freeway, the airbag light will go on and the wipers will occasionally turn on at the same time. The wiper may or may not need to be on the auto setting (not 100% sure). Today, I pulled on the driver seat belt to lock and the airbag light went away (wipers were set to off before I tried this).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnose/ fix the issue? I’m not 100% sure where I should start but hoping someone had and fixed the issue.

Thanks in advance!
