Where does everyone buy HID Upgrade bulbs?

New to BMW's and general and don't know of too many places for mods. Was wondering if someone could diurect me to a good place to get them so I dont overpay/buy a shitty product.

Thanks

JD

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you have HID (xenon) lights, what upgrade is there? Aren't these standard on the M?

Are you looking for OE replacements for the factory xenon headlights or an aftermarket HID kit?

Some people may want a different color(usually more blue). So they switch to 6000-8000k bulbs.

Exactly - he has Xenons standard with the M. Why would you want to change them? They are excellent in their OEM configuration.

He may want to change the color output to a whiter/blueish color, around 6000k-8000k temp. He may even go down to Yellow, around 3000k temp.

And why? He may prefer a different color.

You win the prize!

Yes I want to get a better output color. I just need the Bulb not a Retrofit or anything

Ok, that headlight uses a D2S Bulb. We have them for you in 6000k (pure white) or 8000k (aqua blue) depending on what you are looking for.

If you mean more light output, then the OEM is already the optimum colour temperature for light output. Any higher colour temperature will only give you less light output for useful illumination.

If you are looking for a whiter light with minimal reduction of output try a 5k HID bulb I bought mine from plasma garage. Good service good quality. Now light is very close to pure white without the yellowish look of the OEM or the bluish look of higher temp lights.
