I, stupidly, decided to drive to Mcdonalds for breakfast for some reason. I get there, get in the drive thru line and wait. After a bit I notice, out of the corner of my eye, a car has stopped beside me.

I look over, it is a beige, Chevy Prism, with some old lady inside smiling and giving me a thumbs up...

I wasn't even sure what to do so I waved and nodded...

First time ever that a person has acknowledged a car that I own as 'awesome' (I guess)

Mazda RX8 I had before this was just a meh car to everyone in the world.
My 87 MR2 turns heads ALL the time, but I never had anyone give me a thumbs up for it.

if that is the case, it is also the first time the whole 'married man' thing has worked for me, sadly, in a bad way.

I got more compliments on my '88 MR2 S/C in the last 2 years of it's life than I have on the ///M for the 2 years I've had it.
MK-I MR2s are the best cars ever made.
Should've kept it and rebuilt the engine (head gasket leak), but I don't have the space-time.

did the HG on my 87 in a tiny little 1 car garage. took me 4 weeks to do it thoguh..
