$2750 19" Volk TE37’s / Volk racing ltd caps/ Hankook V12

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD

Wheels:
I picked up the wheels from Vivid Racing. The wheels are a year old and have approximately 7K miles on them. The condition of the wheels is excellent. The wheels show very little sign of use and are as close to new as a used set of wheels can be.

Sizes: (front) 19x8.5 et30
(rear) 19x10.5 et25

Tires:
I picked up the tires from Tire Rack. The tires have approximately 3K miles on them. Tire wear is very even with slightly more wear on the inside shoulder from the negative camber these cars have.

Sizes: (front) 245/35-19
(rear) 285/30-19

Use:
These wheels and tires have never been tracked. The majority of the mileage on the wheels and tires is from traveling from AZ to CA to visit friends and family.

Reason for Selling:
I am considering picking up a light weight 18” set-up. I will begin tracking this car a great deal more in September and track tire options in 18” are far better then what is out there for 19” right now.

What I paid:

1. Wheels- $3500.00 + tax
2. Center Caps- $150.00 + tax
3. Valve stems- $80.00 + tax
4. Tires- $750.00 +tax

Total before tax: $4480.00

I paid less than full retail on all the items and received great deals initially working with the vendors. My asking price is 40% less than what I paid.

The sale also includes the original blue valve stems. I removed the original decals. I prefer Pay Pal for payment. Local pick up would be great, but I will also ship UPS ground insured at the buyers expense. If you have any questions or want any other information, let me Know.

Still not a fan of this idea… I think your car is perfect as it sits. BUT I understand your thinking.

Whoever picks these up will be getting a great find. I'll definitely vouch for Chris taking great car of his stuff and everything being in excellent shape!

It greatly depends on your tire and suspension set-up.

If you run 275/30-19 and are lowered an inch or less, they don’t rub. This is a good street application, but not ideal for tracking.

If you want to run 285/30-19’s and have the car lowered more than an inch you have to remove the top portion of the plastic fender lining and slightly roll the fender. If you look at the rear fender, there is a 90 degree lip toward the wheel. You have to make this a 45 degree angle. The main problem area is where the rear fender and bumper meet.

here's some pictures of my fenders on the same rims but with 275's instead of his 285s

stare at theese angle shots of my front and rear fenders, then look at a stock one, then you'll see where the fender was rolled. it was minimal, but was nec so i didn't have to run > -2.5 in the rear.

I have to say that I would have never chosen those wheels for our cars, but after seeing them on yours, they look awesome! What are the weights if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you.

Weights claimed are front / 19.5 and rear / 20.5, but here they are on a shipping scale: front / 20.5 rear / 21.5

This was Vivid Racings shipping scale, but I have the same exact scale and mine seems to be very accurate.

Anthracite, it's like a dark gray. I was hoping it would be a little darker but it's okay. I'll post some pictures later.
