Gloss / Satin Black HRE C20s on My Alpine White M Coupe

As much as I loved how the Competition wheels looked on my car, I've always had real aggressive looks on my cars and wanted to continue that trend with the Z4M. I've fell in love with the build quality and fitment of HRE's over the last few years so it was an easy choice to use their wheels on this vehicle. I went with the C20 series for their lightweight design and stepped lips, which I think help accentuate the wide rear of the Z4M. The fronts are 19x8.5 while the rears are a 19x10.5 size, which fills out the fenders perfectly. To keep some contrast I had the centers matte coated, and both the inner barrels and outer barrels in gloss black to making cleaning them a bit easier. I know some will feel black wheels are getting on the played out side and I agree to some extent, however it's a look I've done for over 12 years now on my cars with various plays on accent colors.

For tire I wrapped them in Nitto NT05 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear, I'm anxious to put a bit more miles on these as they have gotten rave reviews for being a great intermediate tire that works well on the track and can still be driven on the street. I'm very pleased with the overall stance of the car now and looking forward to getting it back out on the track.

Yeah it's a BMS and I've had a hell of a time with the fitment, likely going to re-fabricate the mounts to make it fit when i get some free time.

I just got a BMS exhaust this week, and asked a couple of people, and they say the key to aligning the cans is having someone hold the exhaust in the exact location you want it, and then tighten the bolts connecting the cans to the x-pipe. That connection allows for multiple degrees of alignment. It tried that last night, and got it pretty close.

Love the white coupes.

I've done that 1-2 times now. Seems at the track it "slips" back to the natural position. I'll give it another shot next week probably, if not she'll get a few cuts and moments with the tig.

Very nice. Have you thought of doing a black vinyl overlay on the roof or the real carbon fiber panel? Maybe some black & white roundels?

Loving the R33 in the 1st shot.

I much prefer your old wheels though. In fact I think it was your car that I saw a pic of before I got mine that I printed and put on my wall as motivation to get it. Is this yours?

I just cut a few roundel covers on the plotter in flat black 5 minutes ago. I'll consider a carbon roof once someone comes up with a new mold that's appropriately priced like the previous offerings. I may give the matte black roof a shot in the near future.

That may be mine, it was previously owned by TC Kline, so if that's his trailer which I assume it is, it was likely my car. That being said with so many cars rocking the CSL I wanted to switch it up a bit.

My Z3M had black wheels

I'll be working on this through the Winter...so keep an eye peeled for just that. The HRE's look great on the white for sure.

Yes it's slammed on TC Kline DA Coilovers with Camber plates.

They're 19x8.5 / 19x10.5 as far as offset goes I believe HRE normally keeps that to themselves, however they're easy to order by calling and specifying the vehicle info.

Some red Stoptech or Brembo calipers front and rear would look nice.

I'm a big Stoptech fan, I've run both Stoptech and Brembo on my cars and quite frankly prefer the Stoptechs. Similar quality since Centric bought them, great pad selection, and priced much more affordable. I'll likely go with black or gold calipers when the time comes.

crazy wheels...

black grills and a black center section on the lower front valance would complete the agressive look imo.

sick either way though.

I'm looking into the grille, probably do that soon, also thinking about a matte black wrap on the lower valance but just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. I've got some matte black vinyl here so it's just a matter of getting bored enough.
