'07 3.0si Missing vacuum line between spark plugs 5 & 6

Hi, new guy here. I bought a 2007 3.0si last monday and I'm trying to track down some hesitation on startup. While inspecting the spark plugs I noticed a vacuum line is missing between spark plugs 5 and 6. Could someone explain where this is supposed to go or direct me to a vacuum diagram? I tired using the TIS I found a link to but I can't track this down and doing a forum search hasn't brought me any closer.

Normal vent port

Vent port on non-vacuum side of PCV/CCV. I am new to BMW also and searched this oddity out. When I replaced this valve I cut it open to verify. It is atmosphere port on outside of diaphragm so it can move.

Still learning about BMW design feature as they sure have some different ones than US or Nippon cars.
