I'm looking at them as a replacement for my stockers, but i want to make sure they dont hinder the performance of the car. I havent been able to find a definitive weight spec, and i know a lot of users complain that some rims are too large/heavy do do anything beneficial to the car besides looks.

I've had a set on my coupe for a while, great wheel and like most HRE's no downsides. All the hardware is titanium to keep weight down. If you're looking strictly for a performance wheel, HRE is releasing a 18" motorsports version of their monoblock in the coming weeks (the first new set just got cut for a E92 M3 we have) which will be based off the wheels being run in Grand Am. Super light with plenty of BBK clearance. |
