Coupes, Worldwide: 4,275, North America: 1,815.
Roadsters, Worldwide: 5,070, North America: 3,042 Source - BMW Car magazine, Nov. 2008 issue, pp 9. Is this for model years 06, 07 and 08? Or just a specific yr?

Anyone know which column would designate premium package?
Don't think any of them actually say "premium package" so perhaps there is a way to know by seeing if another option is included or not. |

Most things in the PP also come as individual options, I believe. If there's a 1 in the CRUISE CONTROL (S540A), HIFI SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL (S677A), INT/EXT RR VW MIRROR W AUT ANTI-DAZZLE (S430A), and SEAT ADJUSTM. ELECTR. W. MEMORY (S459A) columns, it should be a pretty good indication of whether the car has premium.

Which column designates extended leather? Searched it carefully and I couldn't find it. I'm on the hunt for a Z4 M with heated seats, extended leather, in Bronze with a carbon leather interior. Depending on how few there are, I might just search for the perfect black one and repaint it.

Yeah, and with carbon leather interior, only 13. It looks like it's going to be tough. If I didn't love my 2.5 so much I'd be in trouble.
Yyou can't really make it extended leather aftermarket (at least not for a reasonable amount of money), and it's a shame to change factory paint. I guess one has to choose the lesser of two evils. |

To answer your question, column H under "Interior Color" do a filter in excel and then check only the last two, which are VL Schwarz and Sepang and this will give you all of the Extended Leather cars.

Oh and btw there is a Bronze M coupe for sale with extended leather but without CF trim. It would be much cheaper to swap trim than repaint the exterior though.
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false And yeah it's in VA so def a roadtrip.

Nikki I guess your'e right, the CF trim doesn't come up often, but even at over a grand it's still cheaper than repainting the whole thing. And not to start any wars, but I am looking for a roadster
I am willing to travel anywhere in the US though, definitely a road trip to get to know the new beast would be great. Oh and thanks for the answer. I was wondering what VL stood for, for a moment I was afraid it was vinyl -.- |

So after sorting for extended leather... 21 with extended leather in bronze, only 1 with the carbon leather trim, only 9 with a black top (don't really like the tan top). Thanks for posting these numbers Wildag, now I can have much more realistic expectations of what is out there.
Oh and I love how the coupe looks (I wasn't a fan at first, but now to me it looks even slightly better than the roadster). But I love driving with the top down too much to give it up. |

For some reason my build date on that spread sheet doesn't match the build date on my service invoice from the dealer. They're 3 days apart.. Anybody else notice this?

Thanks for posting this. Interesting to see that the earliest VIN's were produced in 2004. Must have been prototypes.

"Production Date" Dealer 1 - 08/01/07 Dealer 2 - 08/20/07 Xcel file. - 08/17/07 My bday - 08/12/87 hehe Delivery date is the same on both invoices. Also, VIN is listed and accurate on all paperwork, ending in LM08530 if you'd like the check the sheet yourself. Sooo yea. Me confused. :shrugs:
