18" wheel upgrade options?
Guys,
I think I'm going to replace my 17" Turbines. I need a new set of tires so I might as well upgrade my wheels. I can't find any aftermarket wheels I like. My favorite OEM wheel out there is the 203 but it also seems to be the hardest to find. I also like the 189's and the 224's. I know the 203's will fit perfectly... I'm not sure about the 189's and 224's. Does anyone know if I'll run into issues if I go with a set of 189's or 224's on my 2.5L (sport package)? What do you guys know about refurbished wheels on ebay? Worth looking at or should I pass? Where's the best place to look for a set of 203's? I'm not having any luck on craigslist. There is a set of 203's on ebay right now for $1,080. They're refurbished and the price seems a little high. Thanks, |

FWIW, I just got 313s all around when faced with a similar dilemma and brand new with BMWCCA discount and shipping they were just over $1,600. Worth a little extra to have an OEM look and brand new vs. refurbished, IMO.
This price was for the 18s. The 19s were significantly more due to being forged and are made by BBS. |

Please pm a mod. Mods/admins don't hang much here--we're pretty civil--so they often focus elsewhere.
