Hmmm.

I have a 3.0si coupe and a Z4MC. Okay, the M is more powerful. And okay, the M has hydraulic steering. But I've been around for a while, and I've driven a lot of cars. And I feel as though the 3.0si is a very, very seriously under-appreciated car. Compared to the M it is frisky and nimble and oh-so close to the M when it comes to throttle-related hoots. And omigod does it ever bite on initial turn-in.

Please somebody buy this car before I have bad thoughts about owning a third.

Thanks, and you are definitely right about the turn in and bite from the front end. Extremely playful and fun car cannot say a single bad thing about it.

I had both, and 3.0si doesn't disappoint in the handling section! I don't miss the hydraulic steering at all. Less weight to boot. Price is almost a steal. Goodluck with sale

Less weight by about 200 lbs, and almost every ounce of it is due to the N52 magnesium block vs. the S54 cast iron lump. Hence that sparkling front end response!

These cars are frisky and nimble and just plain fun. Plus they can hold a week's worth of stuff for two and get nearly 30MPG while transporting them to and from. Ask me how I know. ;-)

This is a whole lot of car for a very reasonable price. I'm amazed its not sold yet.
