stock e92 m3 18" 260 wheel fitment.

8.5"x18 et 29 front & 9.5 x18 et 23

front fitment is less than ideal, needs significant camber to tuck into the fender ( not an issue with my aggressive track setup) running a 235/40 semi slick and this is as far as i comfortably can go, 245 i tried before hand rubbed significantly ( luckily i only tested static and by getting my GF to turn wheel while stationary so no damage caused)

Rear fits perfectly, on semi slick no larger than a 265/35 , anything larger will rub.

ill report back after my first track day, i may need to dial I more camber up front as it may still rub with -2.7 i have at the moment, its definitely close.

All in all this really works well on an aggressively setup car and looks very nice, the fenders are filled like pamela anderson's Bra.

I'm currently running the following setup

19x9 +30 (245/35/19) - Nitto NT555
19x10 +18 (275/30/19) - Nitto NT555

On Fortune Auto Coilovers (~2" drop and -1.5 Camber (Front)/-3.0 Camber (Rear), fenders are rolled. The rears are fine but the front rubs on the liner pretty bad on the area where the fender liner and bumper connect when turning. Does anyone know if by going to a smaller tire size will help? Maybe a 235/35/19 or should I go lower profile too? Thoughts? Thanks in advance

I think a smaller tire will look weird and will promote understeer. Perhaps more camber? I have same front spec as you on a 8.5" wheel. Full lock to RIGHT rubs, but LEFT does not. What's interesting is that it started doing this after my BBK, which must have offset the wheels 2mm tops. So I think it's just barely rubbing for you if you can knock off 2mm or so.

What would look weird? running a 235/35/19 in the front? or running a 235/30/19 or both? When I was on my H&R (~1" drop) spring drop I was rubbing very slightly but now that I'm lower on coils it rubs pretty bad. I just want this to be drivable

If you don't mind the stretched look and a bit less grip, it's an idea. Personally I would try camber first. Like -2.5 to -3.0

my current setup:

Apex Arc-8 Nitto Invo
F 18 x 9 ET42 245/40-18
R 18 x 10 ET25 275/35-18

15mm spacers at front. 5mm spacers at rear.

Lowered with KW V3. At minimum height it rubbed like hell. Raised it, now rubs little at front only.

If I stay at my current wheels setup, which front tire size I should get:
245/35-18
or
255/35-18
or
235/40-18
?

And which rear tire size to match?

I'm currently running stock everything (except a supercharger) and I'm in need of new tires and was hoping to get new rims at the same time. I happened upon the following:

VMR V710
F: 19x9.5 et 22
R: 19x11 et 25

I've gone completely through the "aggressive wheels" thread and this thread and have found that the closest thing anyone has run without rubbing is:
F: 18x9.5 et 35 +5mm spacer @(245/40/18)
R: 19x10.5 et 25 @(275/30/19) or (285/30/19)

I would *LOVE* the extra traction but don't want to mod my fenders, and I would prefer not to use camber plates. I'll use spacers where necessary.

What do you guys think? Will they work?

Thanks in advance!

Finish Black / Machined Face
Front Size 19x8.5
Offset 35
Rear Size 19x9.5
Offset ET 37
Bolt Pattern 5x120
TIRES Size Front - 235/35/19 Rear- 265/30/19
Size Front - 235/35/19 Rear- 265/30/19

Thanks for any and all advise

I have almost the exact setup. ARC-8 18x9 in the front with 12mm spacing and 18x10.5 in the back. Also lowered on V3's.
Tire specs:
245/40/18 front (also rubbing)
275/35/18 back

For the front, stick to 245/40/18, I stress the 40 so the tire diameter would be equivalent to the back tire. Otherwise it won't be the proper rolling diameter.
For the back, 275/35/18 would give you the most performance.

I'm not even flush and it's rubbing on hard cornering. And maybe it's just in my head, but it only happens when going downhill.

This Wednesday I'ma corner balance it. Hopefully it goes away

I think so. Some have run a 265 front with stock suspension on a 9.5 wheel with 9.5 ET35 wheel with 5M spacer (that's a 30 offset). A 9 ET31 has more 5mm more space to the strut and 7mm more from the fender. YMMD depending on type of tire (square or rounded sidewall) used, camber settings, and so on. Rear is no problem.

Have a look for yourself and do the calculations. Don't count on me only!

Those look like they're photoshopped on! lol And the treadwall is so thin, is the rubber just glued to the wheel? Looks pretty sweet!

Front works. You'll want a 10-15mm spacer for Rear.

Will it rub on the inner side without a spacer?

Not sure about that, but you'll be 12mm closer to it. And it won't look good. If you're conservative, go with a 10-12mm spacer.

No rubbing in daily driving but I will report back after the first autocross of the season.

Did two autocrosses without rubbing. Then I got camber washers up front. Tires wouldn't clear the struts so I had to get 5mm spacers. No rubbing for 4 more autocrosses with that setup. So I am currently at:

245/40/18x9 ET37 (ET42 plus 5mm spacer) -2.7* camber
275/35/18x10 ET25 -2.1* camber
