Direzza ZII Star Spec with Stock Wheels

I have heard great things regarding the Direzza ZII Star Spec. I would like to purchase them for my M Coupe, but the rears do not come in the OE Size.

Has anyone installed a set on the stock wheels? If so, what size did you purchase. Car is a weekend warrior with the occasional track day.

I don't know much about tire sizing, so I appreciate the help.

OE Rear Size: 255/40-18

Here are the sizes listed on TireRack:

225/40R18 88W
225/45R18 91W
235/40R18 91W
245/40R18 93W
255/35R18 90W
265/35R18 93W
275/35R18 95W
285/30R18 93W

Thanks. Have you used this fitment before? Just want to make sure there is no rubbing or performance issues. Appreciate the help.

I'm running 245/40R18 and 275/35R18 with the ZII Star Spec's on the Stock wheels with no rubbing. I also picked this size based on a number of other people running the same size for track use.

Edit - I'm also using Turners camber shim kit for -2.7º in the front with no rubbing.

Both sizes will work with this particular tire on the stock wheels. The 245/275 is a much larger tire though, and, at the absolute end of the size range. In my experience, and using a pyrometer, the 235/245 may actually supply a better contact patch with the stock wheel sizes. The 235/265 size is a smaller diameter tire than stock, still within the 3% ABS/DSC effective range, but it gives a bit more torque to the rear wheels (and a stiffer sidewall than the larger tire).
