Just picked this up a few weeks ago, still modding it but need to snap some better pictures now that it's here in FL. Going to get the stock ZCP wheels powdercoated in Charcoal or Black like my M3 in the next few weeks but happy with how it looks now.

It probably isn't very practical, but your car looks awesome at that ride height. That's what I initially envisioned my Z4MC looking like before I got mine; white slammed on CSLs. I vote for keeping the wheels in silver, but props either way.

I drive the car everyday like that , so far so good. Added the RPI skidplates to the car and don't go off-roading but haven't had any problems. Had quite a few sports car prior to this so I'm used to driving cars that are slammed, here in FL we're fortunately to have relatively smooth flat roads.

I'm still up in the air on wheel color, all my other cars normally have black wheels so I figure why make this one any different, car will likely get CCW C2Ks for the track so I'll switch it up.

My OEM ZCP with a 15mm front spacer and running H&R springs. I think I am going to grab a 3/5mm rear spacer because I have been running my brothers BBS ch's for the past week and the more aggresive rear offset of those wheels looks much better. Oh and the red stripe on the wheels is now gone....

A few, I've since had the reflectors color matched and am about to have the wheels re-powdercoated a darker color.

^^^ So nice...

SPG: Sounds like you've been thinking about CSLs for a while now, what's stopping you? They may be common on the forums but I've only seen one other M coupe with them in person. In my opinion they really are the best wheel for the car. I have the 18" reps, only because R-comp tires are hard to find in 19", but if I didn't have that requirement I'd have the 19s, they look much better. Do it.

Pic of 18s for reference...

Anybody else running front spacers on the ZCP wheels? I did the calculations and the fronts are retracted 5mm from the outside edge with the ZCP front offsets vs the stock wheels (the rears extend 11mm vs stock). I'm thinking of running spacers on the front but I'm not sure how much to extend them. I know some guy run anywhere from 5mm to 15mm.

After installing the wheels I can tell that the fronts are more recessed than I would like them to be. For people running 15mm spacers have you had any rubbing issues at full lock?

I've also heard that spacers aren't good for the overall life of your wheel and they can be a detriment on the track/spirited driving, causing undue stress on the wheel.

BTW I'm dropped on Dinan springs so much more subtle than the H&R springs. I'll post some pictures when I can.

I' believe I've got a 10mm (may be 15mm) on the front with camber plates maxed out, no rub at full lock.. I've also converted to bullnose studs on all 4 corners.

Where did you get the 18" Reps and what do they weigh ? Been searching for track wheels but most of the Reps I've found are 4-5lbs heavier than comparible SSR/TR Motorsports/Enkei/Volks etc.

Spacers aren't needed with genuine CSLs or reps (.5" wider than ZCPs).

I got my reps through **********s.com, killer price and service.

Link (select M3 fitment): http://www.**********s.com/_e/Veloci...d_M3_cars_.htm

They weigh 24lbs each, which isn't the lightest on the market but they're strong enough for harsh track duty and so cheap that they're almost expendable if you do bend one.

For $750 a set of good looking, strong, perfectly-fitting wheels, I'm certainly not complaining. Remember, when it comes to wheels, pick two of the following: light, strong, cheap.

That's the "net factor." You see a ton of them on forums and figure everyone's got them. In reality, I've seen 3 other M Coupes in person since 2006, none of which had CSL-style wheels. It's only here it looks like everyone has them.
