Install headlight squirter cover question

Hi,

Any hints to install this would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I do need to get a good wash since the last time I drove we ran into a ton of bugs.

TIA,

Joel

Carefully.
Reach in there and yank on the squirter without breaking the white piece.
It's spring loaded, and will also have some hydraulic resistance, so it will slowly come along as you pull.
When it's out as far as it will go, snap the cover on and slowly lower it.

Or you can do as I did for a more permanent solution.
Remove fuse F40.
Remove the bumper.
Remove the squirters.
Permanently attach the covers to the bumper.

I did the same but only disconnected the pump and left the fuse in. I may go back now and just pull the fuse.

Still amazed at how inTgr8r's stuff turns out. Looks immaculate.

I'm just going to code mine out here soon. Leave everything else as is. Maybe one day fill them in, but for now, just leave them disabled.

Really difficult to pull that bugger up. I think I'll try putting a tie wrap around it and pull it up with a pliers of sorts. Even though I have small hands, I can't really get a good grip on it.

I'd love to fill those ugly holes in.. Crappy crappy sprayers.. When my front bumper and bonnet are due for a respray, not too far away, I'll seal in the holes.. Thanks InTgr8r. ✈

When I lost one of mine, and had to get a new one installed, my mechanic just fired up the car, turn the headlights on, and turned on the wipers. On every 3rd wipe (if I recall) the pump comes up and squirts out, and he just had another one of his mechanic grab it. Then the cover just snaps onto the little white tab and that's that.
