I bought a new CF engine cover for the M coupe from dubsesd on zpost. The engine cover fits but there are some fitment issues with the holes, you have to use washers due to the holes being too big. Some how dubsesd got it to work on his car, but I only was able to get 2 bolts to actually thread. I have an OEM M emblem but it seems that area for it is either too small or the emblem will require some demelling. May just be my laziness to make it fit, but I'm sure if you have some patience you can make it fit properly. May laziness is your gain.

The washers I found fit into the holes but the engine cover bolts would not thread, it seemed that the engine cover just needs to be pushed down or repositioned a bit which I didn't have the patience to try to figure out. I did buy some rubber washers that fit the hole and you would be able to thread the bolts but I would be cautious because these rubber washers are from home depot and I do not know the temperature tolerances of them. I will provide the washers (2 metal types and 1 rubber) that fit the cover. I do not know the brand of the cover but the previous owner bought it new from ebay then bought a different one. There are no cracks/fading/damage on the cover.

I started at the back top bolt and then did the front bolts to make it fit. It takes some flexing and pulling however. I was unable to get one of the bolts on properly. The washers I used were some small steel ones so the bolts wouldn't slip through the hole. I ended up buying a tekarbon cover. For 80 bucks it's a good project for someone who wants to mess around with it. GLWS

for anyone who likes carbon-y stuff, this seems like an outrageously good deal.
