Speaker mounting brakets/rings?

From the size of the Crutchfield ones, I take it you are looking to replace the kick panel speakers? If so, you can do without the conversion rings (since they aren't BMW Z4 specific anyway) and just drill another hole(s) as needed. I went though this when I swapped out mine.

Also, why not move this over to the Nav/Electronics forum.

I am replacing everything and trying to not get raped by my installer. I am banging my head reading threads where guys tell me the kicks are 5.25, or 6.5, then i need to work my way to the doors :/

I have amps in the trunk, and the AVX77 h/u

I would have posted in the other forum, but when I was posting from my phone, I could not open that forum.

6.5" in the kicks fit great. Be careful about the depth on the mids in the doors, If I recall, 2" is all that will fit.
