It would be nice to see a good representation of all the variations of the cars: M and non-M, coupes and roadsters, pre-facelift and facelift. To the extent that can be accommodated in a 12 month calendar anyway!

OK just got back from Phoenix so catching up on all the entries. Below is the list I have so far, still a couple of days to get photos in. I'll just throw this out there..... if there are any members that want to use photos that I have taken personally of their cars and use as their submissions please feel free to do so.

I have been experimenting with the polling options and there aren't many options available in the version of vBulletin® zpost is on. I want to make this as easy as possible in terms of voting and administering it. Other forums have members PM their votes in but that's a nightmare waiting to happen if you ask me. So the best I could come up with would be that I'll setup 5 polls (1st choice, 2nd choice, etc....) with one vote per poll. Criteria which will be the following;

1. must be a forum member
2. have at least 5 legit posts. (no test posts, or new user created in the within the last week)
3. you cannot vote for your own submission
4. you will have 5 votes in total, one per poll
5. votes will be weighted (to try and prevent ties) ie
   • 1st choice 5 points
   • 2nd choice 4 points
   • 3rd choice 3 points
   • 4th choice 2 points
   • 5th choice 1 points

If there are any suggestions let me know.

I went out and took the really nice Nikon and snapped a few pictures of Lucy and then looked at them...
Why is it I stink as a photographer? If I take a picture of a dead tree it looks like a picture of a dead tree. If my father takes a picture of the same tree, he ends up with art. I have tried my whole life and I am not sure why I am always shocked.

Practice, young Jedi!

Low angles always make a car look better.

Subdued lighting on a cloudy (but not too dark) day helps to hide imperfections and paint flaws and gives more even - less harsh images.

Y'know me - always trying to inject a chuckle. It goes without saying, may the best photos win! I can't wait to see what folks have submitted. When we used to have monthly contests there were some awesome submissions. I'm expecting we'll see some great shots when voting opens.
