In the case VF decides to host the GB, we would take the 10% deposit (non-refundable) deposit to officially add you to the Group Buy list. The 90% balance would only be due once your kit is ready to ship.

Thankfully, we include the OBD2 Hex Tuning cable to eliminate the need/logistical bumps of sending your ECU.

Beautiful kit, can't wait to see more installs and some track experiences.

Oh geez, potential GB, and Lon knows a guy who knows a guy.

My wallet is totally scared now. Here I was thinking of cutting down on mod expenses in 2013.

I'm thinking about the 570 kit too, but I'll wait until after I have to smog my car next year, so at least that'll buy me 2 years.

The VF kits are home installable, compared with needing an approved vendor install with the ESS VT500 kit. With the Vivid Racing sale last week, it was US$7160 shipped to Calgary for the VF480 kit (plus about 12% total for duty, GST and brokerage). I decided on the 480 vs the 570 due to not wanting to do headers and clutch and upgrade the oil cooler at the moment, may upgrade to 570 in the future.
Im in Calgary too haha. You may need to take me for a rip in your roadster once the s/c goes in... help me along with the decision making process haha.

Hopefully have it in during the Christmas break. Won't get to fully open it up until the summers go back on in April, though, 225 wide winter tyres won't lay down too much power. Hopefully there will be a few auto-X fun sessions at Cross Iron Mills or somewhere similar this coming summer. Not sure on tyre life expectations, though, 3 auto-X events and 8,000km almost finished off a set of Michelin PSS tyres with stock power levels (that is down 10% from quoted levels due to Calgary's altitude).

Other than increased front camber, 245/40 F & 275/35 R tyres, transmission mounts and CDV delete, no.

Hopefully I will be able to retain the stock exhaust system (as the 92dB noise driveby limit we have here doesn't apply to the stock exhaust which registered at 90dB on a test run against the automated roadside device - allows me to avoid a $200 fine). Also want to keep the stock ride height due to snow driving half the year, but will likely put Bilsteins on it this summer, stock shocks are not that effective anymore.

The sound of your blower as you drive by is going to be louder than your exhaust anyway

I'm interested to see how your exhaust note changes after you install your VF480.

Thumbs up In...

I'm down for a GB (a 480 in my case) if it happens.

I've been waiting on Rated's install, so happy to see that it went smoothly! The timing works out pretty well.. I've got SS headers, euro cats & a Stoptech trophy kit sitting in my living room & ready to install. If I can get the AST 4150's too, this will be one mega-vehicular-makeover
