Left And Right Rear View Mirrors
Can someone tell me where I can buy left and right side review mirrors for a 2003 Z4 3.0i. I just got off the phone with some guy (I just need the Glass Mirrors) and he told me 365.00 for each. I would not pay that much if I had to replace the entire mirror system it's self.
Thank You. |

I was looking all over ebay and could not find them. I'll give it another shot. Now I understand why these mirrors are so dam expensive. There self dimming which requires some type of "Oil" that's built into the glass it's self.

Why do you need to replace the glass? If it's because they are bubbling or if fluid is leaking you should be able to send them off to replace the auto dimming liquid for cheaper than buying new glass.

There's a place that repairs the rear view mirror but I couldn't find any that do side mirrors. Do you have a lead?

No. You don't "Repair" these "Glasses", because the "Leak" is in the Glass it's self. Sure if it was "Coated" like some to to their windows in the car you can. But it's far, far from that issue.

I would try contacting the people at radar mirror and see if they can replace the side mirrors also. I couldn't find anything doing a quick search. You would think that somebody replaces fluid in these things since they will all probably fail at some point.

Also try contacting Sybesma's Electronics about replacement. I think they were one of the original companies repairing the rear view mirrors, so they might be able to do side mirrors also. You'll probably have to send in your side mirrors for repair, but when you get them back they will probably never leak again.
Be sure to let us know if they can repair them or not.

Thanks for the info. But there's nothing there regarding said mirrors. Although I can always look at Junk Yards. You have a totaled z4 except the side view mirrors are perfect..
