Widest tires for stock 3.0si rims?
I'm wondering if anyone can help on this question. My searching has yielded only fuzzy results…
What's the widest tire that would fit on a 2007 3.0si w sport package wheels (with or without spacers)? Currently the car has 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 Bridgestone Protenza RFTs. I'm helping a friend replace her RFTs with some non-RFT max or extreme performance tires for track (and street) use, and wondering if a wider tread might be possible with these wheels. There seems to be a ton of room, and I know taller tires can fit, but what about wider at the 40 and/or 35 profile? Thanks! |
