I recently picked up an '07 ///M Roadster IR/SBL which I love, I was a regular Z4um member when I had my Z4 a few years ago.

Here's a pic after it was detailed and got a clear bra yesterday (also got those reflectors painted):

I'm driving an E46 convertible in Orient Metallic Blue over gray leather with myrtle wood trim. I'm selling it since we sold our E36 M3 (still boo hooing about that) and I'm consolidating to an Z4 M Coupe.

Optimal color combo:
Interlagos Blue over Imola Red Leather
Monaco Blue over Imola Red Leather

Thanks to someone posting the Z4M Roadster/Coupe production list for North America, I see that there were less than 10 of those made total. I'm resetting my "wants".

No Madeira wood trim. I can't figure out what interior that actually works with - maybe the light Sepang... maybe not ;D .
No Black Sapphire Metallic over Black Leather/Carbon leather

Maybes:
Interlagos Blue with Black Leather/carbon leather, Light Sepang or Dark Sepang (no wood!)
Monaco Blue with the same interiors
Black Sapphire Metallic over Imola Red (sha-a-a-wing) - no wood
Imola Red over Imola Red - no wood
Alpine White over Imola Red - no wood
Imola Red over Black Leahter - no wood

Low miles are a must and hopefully a one owner car. I've been surprised to see a few for sale that have had 3 owners of an '07.

g-sson, carbon black looks spectacular!

^tasty_1, the 'superman' schemes (blue with red interior) are very rare indeed and u'd be lucky to find one for sale. there are plenty of interior photographs of different color combinations u're considering on zpost, just do a search!

just purchased a 03 2.5 w sport for 9800 with 84k miles. silver/black. Never thought I'd like silver but it grew on me.
Got it checked out by a mechanic but cannot find the maintenance record. Can i contact BMW to see if theres any visits? Also, what type of extended warranty do you guys use besides factory?

Got my first compliment by a old woman today... it was hillarious!

finally joined this forum after reading along for some time. Some may recognize my nickname from bimmerforums (z3/z4 subsections) where I've hung around since '03. Anyway, read a lot of interesting things here and I'm looking forward to participating.

I currently drive a black M Roadster from 2007. Awesome car. It's very stock, but at least it has nice banana-colored seats to stand out.

just wanted to introduce myself,
had my Z4 for just a few days now, its a 2004 3.0i convertible, I think the colour is 'deep sea blue', I'm looking forward to reading lots of Z4 related stories and tips and maybe share some pictures of my own. I do have some questions but I won't ask those in this post.

edit: short term plan is to find out about the hard top prep kit (price for parts, installation and where to get in done around London etc) as i know my Z4 does not have it yet, and then keep an eye on ebay for the top itself
