FS 2007 3.0Si AW Coupe
Now Gone to a Good Home. Why for sell? The original plan was for this to be my “own-it-forever-car”. An unexpected change in retirement plans has forced a re-evaluation of our vehicle/toy requirements. I wanted a Z4 which was as light and simple as possible yet also have the desirable performance features. No Nav, power seats, heated seats. Never had the lifter ticking that some others have reported. Always garaged. Washed / waxed / leather care / rubber care regularly. Overall condition is 98-99 %. Car has never sat for more than 2½ weeks without being taken out for a drive. I have all records and receipts for all work done, dealership and my own. Maintenance has been above and beyond factory recommended, I've generally followed Mike Miller's Lifetime Maintenance Schedule. Factory 0-30 oil used up until last oil change when switched over to Mobil 1 0-40 European formula. Oil changed annually, about every 4K miles. Specs: 2007 Z4 Coupe - Alpine White Mfg Date 5/9/07 Low mileage 28,xxx Miles No accidents Single owner 6 speed manual transmission M Sport suspension M Sport Seats (Manual) Black Leather Interior Brushed Aluminum Trim Bluetooth AUX Input Xenon headlights Cruise control Mods: Euro white side reflectors. Thinned side signal lights (“hamburgers”) Black & White Roundels DForce lightweight wheels: f=18x8.5 19.2 lbs r=18x9.5 20.9 lbs Eibach Sportline springs (Still have oem sport springs.) Custom made RPI style air scoop (Uses factory mounting points, no extra holes) Blacked out kidney grilles Custom made Front bumper protectors OEM Floor mats CDV delete Tinted rear window. Debadged Other Info: Original window sticker Original manual set Single owner – single driver Non smoker No visible wear on seats including driver seat bolsters. No scratches/damage to plastic tray under E Brake handle. No scratches/damage to rear console storage compartment. No scratches/damage to aluminum trim. No scratches/damage to steering wheel plastic inserts. Paint 9.0-9.5 of 10. Typical minor chips from being driven. No snow/salt exposure. Driven in rain 3 times. No short “supermarket trips”, always driven until fully warmed up. Never “jumped on” until fully warmed up. No track time / auto X (one car control clinic-Fontana, BMW LA Club) All receipts / maintenance records Wheels: zero curb rash: round, no flat spots, dents - typical minor rock chips.... Tires: Hankook V12 with about 4K miles on them front and rear. Misc Z4 tools: 4 jack pads, oil filter tool, Library of info collected from various forums. New AGM Battery: O’Reilly Super Start Platinum Installed Jan 2015

I Agree!!!!
Someone is going to pick up a VERY special car. Sorry to hear that you have to part ways with it. I can imagine very well what you are going through, as I may very well face the same dilemma in a couple of years.

Oh man. It pains me to see you sell this beauty, but if you have to, you have to. Seems like a good retirement "keep you young" medication to me. But, you have to do what you have to do what you have to do.
Whoever buys this car is essentially getting a showroom new car and a hell of a deal. GLWS. Buyer, know you're getting an immaculate looking car and one that has been cared for in a 1 in 100,000 manner. |

Thanks for the comments all. My plan when I purchased this new was to be my keep it forever, work therapy, retirement toy..... but as we all know, life can be unpredictable.
Something I did not mention in my original post was that I also have four of the Torin jackstands modified to fit our cars. (Yes, I am a geek and like quality.) My original plan was to keep these, however if the car goes to a forum member (good home) these will go. Also, car has had only premium grade “top tier” gas used, primarily Shell as the station is around the corner from home. I also have an ash tray assembly which I picked up with the intent of installing gauges, which I never got around to. If you look at the list of mods and pics you can see the car has what I would describe as a series of subtle mods that are reversible should the new owner wish. Of note: 1. An improved design of the RPI Air Scoop, this is slightly larger, fits better, and uses the factory mounting hole for the removed air flow cup (no extra holes in body panel). 2. Front bumper skid plates made from ABS plastic, they do help. For the sale I installed a new set. 3. Thinned hamburgers, these really help the flow of the car’s lines and are just as bright as the oem size. They stand out by being so subtle. 4. Being Alpine White, the Euro side reflectors are just perfect. Like the hamburgers, they stand out by being so subtle.

What a gorgeous car! Ditto to all the comments above. I'll be sorry to see you go when you do sell her. In the meantime, I'm hoping you buy a winning lottey ticket tonight and burn the For Sale sign!
Cheers!!

On a side note, I anticipate lurking in the shadows of this forum. Without a doubt I have found it to be the most informative, helpful, and friendly bunch of inhabitants of any forum I've participated in.

I would have claimed this car if my insurance didn't jack me around for so long. Its the lowest mile and well kept coupe I know of.
This coupe won't last on the market long.......tic toc! |

As of the moment, I haven't listed this on the open market. There is a 0.0000000001% chance I may be able to keep it and I'm doing everything I reasonably can to do so. Time will tell.....

Life events haven't forced the sale yet, I'm still hanging in there. LOL Unfortunately that day will come. Would prefer to sell to a forum member, you know...a good home and such.
Updated info to reflect current mileage and battery change.

I just sold my 07 Z Coupe this morning because I have a 981, but am already regressing the decision to sell. If for whatever reason this hasn't sold by February of next year, I will be out in LA and will probably buy this. Unless you are motivated enough to work with me to get it sold sooner. If so, PM me. Cash in hand...
