Update 7/21/14!

Got everything back together, and it's now off for paint and final fitting/adjustments.

I still need to figure out what to do for an oil cooler, and pick up two new "m" badges for the front fenders. I also might need to figure out how to quiet this thing down a bit - the neighbors are already annoyed

Also, does anyone know how to tell when the insert on a lightweight flywheel needs to be replaced, short of pulling it and inspecting?

It's alive once again!

Does it drive like nothing ever happened?

It still needs a full alignment/suspension setup, but I got everything pretty close and it drives great - no wobbles, pulling, odd noises, or check engine lights! So far this car is the most radical thing I've ever driven, and I'm dying to put in some seat time. Hoping that by the end of August paint and all of the NY paperwork will be finished.

Update 8/9/14

Picked it up yesterday from paint!

Just a few pieces left to buy now, and getting through the NYS salvage inspection - hopefully no issues.
