Question: Heated seat element placement

Hi all:
I need to replace the bottom cushion of my driver side seat. My seat is heated - does anybody know how the element is placed in seat cushion? I found a seat cushion from a non-heated seat on eBay - I'm hoping it's a standard piece regardless of heating element or not.

If the element is embedded, I was thinking I could swap out the leather covers, although they seemed glued down nicely. Would this be an option?

Any guidance? Thanks in advance!

The seat heating elements are stuck on. They are adhesive-backed. You can buy a new heating element and stick it onto a non-heated cushion. If you ever remove one, it won't come off cleanly but maybe if you are ultra careful and you use contact cement you might be able to reuse one.
