RFT vs reg tire sidewall ride equivalence
I'm hoping to gather some info from the collective experience here basically we know regular tires are going to provide a better ride (comfort) than run flat tires.
We also know the less side wall you are running (larger wheels) the worse the ride will be. My car currently has the stock rims and run flats (225/45-17) non sport suspension For those of you who have driven on multiple setups how would you compare to ride of what I am running now to say 225/40R18 regular tires or 245/35R19 regular tires ? I'm not specifically searching for ride comfort here but I don't want to crash over every bump and loose that unique BMW feel I've grown to love in the last week |

Mine is sport suspension...I run 18" track/17" street; even though the car came with 18's, the ride is better with 17"'s.
I recently went from 19" OEM non run-flats on my ZCP suspension M3 to stock 18" M3 wheels/tires. HUGE difference. |
