Aero side skirts

Are they a direct fit for the M Coupe? Were they a factory option? Where can I find them and how much do they run?

Thanks!

1. Very close. Search. Easy modification if even necessary (seems like some have been fine without cutting the notch.
Edit: I think this thread addresses the possible need for trimming: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...ht=side+skirts (Yep. Page 2.)

2. Probably?

3. Anywhere that sells BMW OEM parts as long as they haven't run out. A year or two ago I know I hear they were in short supply.

Simple install, takes an hour or less to remove the old ones and put the new ones on. Cost around $500 for the pair, come unpainted, so factor the paint work with a flex agent into the cost. The M should have come with them stock, but didn't

getbmwparts.com has them for 245 each side in the accessories tab, but if you search the part numbers under PARTS they're 179.16 each, not sure why. They were not offered on the M models, but the parts do still fit. Because they werent offered to find the part numbers you have to search realOEM or other sites for the other Z4 models.

I noticed this as well last night. The higher price is probably what they were charging when the item was hot. The E85/6 is not made any longer so the value of the parts decreases. I'd buy at $179 and I've already sent them an email last night for availability.

Thanks for the info!!

Let me know if they sell them for $179. I might have to jump on a pair!

I had to double check my order from last year. I'm pretty sure they were sold like this last year too with the different prices and like an idiot I bought the more expensive ones

Also paint might be different where you are, but for me it was around $460 to have them painted and installed.

Wow. Great price on paint. I bought them at the higher price a couple years ago and the best price I could get on paint was just north of $700 and I did the install myself.

Before you install them, do a search on this forum. I recall making a very slight mod to mine because the car is an M. Not sure why this is, but it made a small difference.
