Had this diff built by Jim Blanton for my 3.0si track car but ended up picking up a Cayman S before ever having it installed. 30/90 locking with 3.91 ratio. If I can track down the brand new center support bearing that will be included as well.

$2,500 PayPal/shipped. Take $100 off if you are local to Minnesota and can pick up this 100lb beast.

Whoa, you only had your 3.0si coupe for a couple months. Didn't like the electronic steering?

Bought a Cayman S and couldn't justify having both. Although I already miss the Z.

Bump. I would like to get this sold, so my plan is to reduce the price at least $25 every day, Dutch auction style. Of course, if you don't want to wait, you can also make me an offer. The price includes shipping.

$2,400

Do you have any additional specs? Static lock, number of clutches, Z4 finned cover, etc.?

Good questions.

No finned cover on the back (use your old one. Jim said the covers tend to get damaged in shipping)

30/90 ramp angles

Heavier gear was able to be used in this ratio to provide better longevity

I'd be all over if this was a 3.64 or 3.73

3.91 wouldn't work well on the tracks I frequent the most but I bet this is a blast during auto-x

I can't remember if it was you or another member that used a program to calculate the best ratio for my car around Road America. The best was 3.73 I believe, but the 3.91 was only a couple hypothetical tenths slower. It meant a few more shifts but not a huge disadvantage. Maximum calculated speed with the 3.91 is about 148 mph.

Was not me but I too would've gone for a 3.73 but they're so hard to come by. And the cost to go from 3.46 to 3.64 wasn't worth it so I just kept stock gearing when I installed the Quaife.

Fair enough. The 3.91 is only 5% shorter than 3.73 over stock. If the price gets low enough it might be worth a try.

$2,350 shipped
