Airbag light came on/Radio shutting off and more
Last week my airbag light came on.
It triggered my radio shutting off, interior lights flickering, seat wamers stop working, & wipers stopping mid windshield I had my car diagnosed by BMW. No run around but they told me two possible parts that may need replacement. Ignition switch ($158) $600 to fix at BMW Body module $1100. To fix at BMW. —————————- *I ordered my part on Ebay. *used Ignition switch Part no. 61326901961 $15.00 Fix all problems in 5 min. Gotta love EBAY!!! Hope this helps everyone out!!! |

Thank you so much, most personally relevant post I have seen in years! Mine started with the air bag light, then the radio, dome light, then windshield wipers. Then the other night after I shut off the car and walked away the freakin radio turned on. I thought she needed an exorcism, but now I ordered and received the ignition switch, and will be installing tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
