Stoptech advice needed

I have a line on front and rear stop techs for $2200. Would you do it? They look ok visually but not sure if they may need to be rebuilt.

Not enough information...
How many miles on them, what are the rotors like.
What is the condition of the piston seals
Etc.

All I know is it's a st40 355 kit. There is a pic of the calipers and rotors and they look ok. But it isn't a high red pic. I do not know how long they were on the car. Another forum member mention to get the rotor thickness measurement. Because replacing the rotors could be a significant cost.

Ok so the plot thickens. I received rotor measurements. Two of the rotors are 50% worn the other two are 75% (assuming fronts). Assuming the calipers and pads are good, would you do it? This would be street use, not sure when I would expect to replace the rotors? I guess if the rotors are the same size I could move the fronts to the rear to get more life. I would guess I put 500 miles on a year.

Did you get actual measurements?
Are the percentages accurate?

If they represent percent of usable disc (Max - min) then you should be OK with the low miles that you do.

To swap f/r you would have the dismantle the ring from the rotor hat.
The rears are different hats/hub with the parking brake.
That assumes that the rings are the same part. (Im not sure if they are or not)

^What he said.

IMHO, unless the seller is really disclosing the details and forthcoming with the information in a manner that they sound like they know what they are talking about and understand how buying used things work, be skeptical and very careful.

Garage List
I'd be interested in the rears if you don't pick them up.
