Sirius.....how do you have it installed

Okay, so maybe this isn't a "how to", but more of a "how do you".

I am sure there are a lot of people with Sirius satellite radio. How do you have yours installed? I have my antenna on the back portion just above where the trunk opens, and then have it snaking through the soft top to the front dash. Actually right now have it installed on the vent.

I don't like all the wires and they get tangled up in my 4" heels. How do others handle the multitude of wires?

thanks,

Rosemarie

No Sirius in my Z only in my E90 and it came from the factory in that car. After having it for a while now in the E90 I do not feel I am missing anything in the Z. The iPod is more than enough music and mostly I like to turn it off, put the top down and just immerse myself in the car, it's sounds, and nature all around me.

Oh, and it is safer than tangled wires around the 4 in heels....LOL

I have a similar setup to yours when I use my sat radio, but I don't have that nice deal to hold the head unit up on the vent

I run the wires up the passenger side of the transmission tunnel, I think you saw at the SC meet that I have my antenna under the passenger side roll hoop, and I just run the wires down behind that seat, and along the transmission tunnel

I didn't get a look at how your wires were run, but if they're on the driver's side maybe you can re-route them to the passenger side.

I haven't had any issues with my passengers with 4" heels getting caught up in my wiring

Don't know how you get reception with your antenna placement. I switched it back to going up the middle console so I don't have to get tangles each time I get in.

Glad to hear that you have had passengers with 4" heels...lol!!!
