Anyone ever buy stuff from them? I am not familiar with their products and would hate to end up with parts that don't fit right.

I didn't get on the GB, but I still feel your pain. Maybe the fitment on these is bunk

It looks like they might have the same "early bend" problem as the RE.
Hard to tell from the pics. Or is it?
Hopefully you DKF GB guys will feel a little better now.

How could RE and Status Gruppe get it so wrong? Did they think they had a better idea?

Who makes the piping in the thirst picture? I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust on my Coupe, But BMS is gone for the magna flows, and I'm trying to find Resonated X pipes and Catted secondary so i can switch to euro/csl headers.
reeeeally dont' want any droning if you guys are wondering why i want the resonator and cats to remain

One forum member has apparently tamed the drone with a pretty inexpensive solution. Rasp is another story though!

Thanks for the heads up. The part pictured was our prototype. The production part follows the openings a lot better. I will post in the thread or email you once I get the new pics info on the site.

Wanna see those new pics. I would like to get those 200C if the opening looks more like the SS or DKF catalic coverters.

This is where the bends should be (mocking up my original section 1 to be welded back together; previously was part of my custom resonated piece):

If my original section 1 bolts up fine, I'll be selling my RE midpipe for cheap.

From looking how much difference there is in the two it seems odd that they would build the new section 1 using the original section 1 and end up as far off as they did.

Is it difficult to get pipe bends that close together or that tight of bends?

It could be they're going for slightly less flow losses. Notice how the original bends are ~20 degrees sharper? That could lead to 3-5 psi of additional backpressure. I have no idea what that translates to in torque/hp though.

<edit> that does look like a shit job though, not defending that decision, just trying to come up with a reason they would be that far off.

They fit, just not as well as stock.
Just watch the clearance between the pipes and the trans brace.
They'll hang down a little, but unlikely you'll drag on anything that your fangs will clear.
