Center Console Wire Clip
Anyone know where this goes? I found it in the floor. I'm fairly sure it came from the center console area, since that's the last thing I disassembled. If anyone here is a palm reader, and I'm about to die, please don't tell me.
Also, does anyone have any pics of the procedure to make a stored top on a Z4M stop squeaking/chirping like a bird? I found a DIY, but all of the pics were dead. Thanks! Salty

Salty, you will live a long and prosperous life
The clip, I have no clue. I have had my interior apart twice and do not recall that clip. Looks like a cable retaining clip.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I re-wired a trailer not too long ago, so saw plenty of these wire clips when I was re-wiring new brake lights. I just can't figure out where this one came from. It probably isn't all that important in the scheme of things.

Maybe holds the trim ring around the shifter boot?
Should be easy to pop off the ring and have a look.

You are correct though, they do fall off. When disassembling there is usually a couple of them sitting on the tunnel.
