Low price for TWS

I used my last quart of TWS oil last weekend and found the following site selling it for $11.59/litre. Shipping for a case of 12 was only $10.95 so it ended up being only 12.50 shipped. My local dealer charges $16.50+tax so this seemed like a pretty good deal. This is also much lower than Tischer. Anyone have a better source?

Are you sure about the price? Online price is $15.08 and MSRP is $14.50.

ECS has it for $12/liter. Their oil change kit which contains 6 liters of oil and a filter for $80 is a great price, and nice to get everything together in a convenient package.

Ha!
Price seems to depend on where you click, or maybe when.
This gets me $12.76.
But Rob's link does have $15.08. Cracks me up that it's higher than MSRP.

P.S. Make sure you compare ECS's price including shipping. They tend to be a bit high in shipping charges.

I agree ECS shipping is high. Plus I have to pay sales tax. It is better for me to purchase from getBMWParts. I bought a case from my Indy. It still come out to 15.50 per liter including tax.

I don't want to turn this thread into an oil debate. I am thinking using Liqui Moly 10w-60 GT1 for the next oil change. BavarianAuto have it on sale for 44.95 for 5 liter jug. Free shipping for purchase over $150.

Wow, I didn't realize this was such a complicated post. Apparently, they raised the price from $11.59 when I bought it this morning to $12.76 on the same link now. Also, I thought the $10.95 to ship a case of oil was lower than other sources, including Tischer. Maybe they realized after my order that the posted price was lower than where they wanted it. Oh well, so long as they fill my order as per their confirmation, I'm happy.

Well, I just got confirmation that they shipped it today at the price I was quoted online this morning. I also got a gallon of BMW coolant for $19 and no additional shipping charges. Total for 12 liters + coolant including shipping was $169.

Our local china-wall mart has mobil 1 0w-40 for around $25 for a 5 quart jug so around $5 a quart. Mann oil filter from Amazon for $6 makes an oil change around $50, not to bad. My closest BMW dealer is 550 miles away so I have to be creative.

That is not TWS (10w-60).
