No
I looked at the coding and it only looks like the rear fog lights are monitored, not the front. Front does has the option to stay on or off with high beams.
Out of curiosity, why do you want to unplug the front fog lights, brake cooling like M? |

Correct, few months ago I installed a brake cooling kit but I'd like to redo certain aspects of it, specifically where I collect air from. Using the fogs would be 10x easier than using the Lowry grill pieces.

I actually think you will, but...my case is a rare one.
So, I have an M, but decided to put the Aero bumper on, and actually wired up the foglights to the stock fusebox location. I also installed a new LCM from a Z4 that had the fog light switch. Here is the reason I think you might have a warning light: before I actually wired the lights up to the fuse box, I just put the LCM in, and the moment I turned the car on after installing the LCM to check if it works, the bulb warning light went on. So there's gotta be something in there that tells it to check for fogs. For what it's worth, I still have the bulb warning light on, and the switch doesn't control my fogs, but my fogs turn on when I turn the key to position 2 and turn off when I turn the car off. Figure I have something mis-wired in there somewhere, just have been too busy/lazy to actually dig in and see. Man I wish I still had my own garage... |

I got no warning light on after I did m bumper conversion. Fog lights wires sealed and tight at some metal place. Thing is that I never try to press the fog light switch again... I always think the light will turn on and stay on after I press the switch button. Lol
