recycle or trash?
My new mufflers come in today. What should I do with the oem muffs? Is there a marker on ebay for them? Or is it easier just to find a dumpster and trash them?

Post em up on here or any other free forums for cheap pick-up only, worst case you hold on to them for a few. Do you plan on selling any time at all? If so, most prefer oem. If you dont after a week or two toss em honestly.

Hold on to them and switch back to OEM before you sell the car (eventually happens to almost all of them). You will get more money overall selling the car with the OEM exhaust and the aftermarket exhaust separately. This goes for most if not all mods. Also, excellent chance at least some of your potential buyers won't have the same tastes as you in your exhaust.

You can get 50-75% of the cost of your new mufflers if you sell them used later on, separately from the car with OEM mufflers. Like others have said, aftermarket mufflers can actually shy away potential buyers.

You may want to check ebay, as that may make it worth you while.
Otherwise keep them for when you sell the car, as what was said. If you REALLY dont want to keep them I'd find a metal recycling yard and give the canisters to them. Its quite a waste to toss some mufflers in the landfill just because you dont have a use for them currently.

well I installed the new Stromung mufflers. unfortunately I didn't make a before sound clip. I will make an after sound clip in a day or two. I got to say I am seriously impressed. No rasp or gurgle, but very throaty!
