A montage of my powerslides

Figured that few people like watching 4 minute videos of autocross, so I just took the more action packed ones from my last 2 events, and made an entertaining montage.

The smile on your face is priceless, nice montage. Those are slides though, not powerslides

Yeah i dont get mad when i hit cones or screw up a run, i have a lot of fun.

What do you mean theyre not powerslides? Most of the time the rear stepped out because i was too hard on the throttle in those clips

I thought power sliding was a controlled slide, where you do it to get around a corner faster by breaking traction, then modulating the throttle.

No dissing intended, your skills are definitely above mine as I haven't done any auto-cross on my M (only lighter/less powerful cars).

Did you paint it or was the light hitting it in such a way that the 3 'spokes' looked silver?

I'm consistently second to last place in SSM class.
I also have trouble with getting lost on long courses, even with instructors. Cones come up really fast when you're laying down the powah

its ok, I'll get better at this with practice

LOL, at least you put on a good show for the volunteers and had a lot of fun, I'm sure. I'll have to get to one of those soon.

You might notice that between walks, my son and I are standing around with our eyes closed, swaying and taking small steps. We are making sure we have the course memorized and are driving our lines. You'll notice others do this as well. If you cannot do this in some manner, the course will continue to surprise you.

Unlike track events where you can get to "know" the track because it doesn't change, every autocross course layout is unique. We have no practice or qualifying sessions, so we have to get the most out of each run.

I laughed here Tom, the car is way to powerful for these tight circuits, but also because your video reminds me what we've done by strapping a blower to this car.... Made it rather silly!!!

The grip is an issue. Lol.

Hang onto those slides and ride them out alittle....
